What is the BMP Grant?

The Brain, Mind and Pain ‘Patient-Centred Innovation Grant’ (BMP Grant) is an initiative of Pain Alliance Europe and co-sponsored by Boston Scientific, Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V. and Grünenthal to identify, stimulate and encourage patient-centric and scientifically robust innovation in the domain of chronic pain and neurological disorders, to stimulate research and access to innovative treatments, to promote prevention and self-management approaches, to decrease stigma, and to work together to improve quality of life for people living with these disabling conditions. 

This project is coordinated by the PAE Secretariat. The Steering Committee of this project is composed by representatives of Pain Alliance Europe (PAE), the European Pain Federation (EFIC), European Federation of Neurological Associations (EFNA) and European Academy of Neurology (EAN). 

Pain Alliance Europe is a non-governmental umbrella organization of national associations committed to improving the quality of life of people with chronic pain in Europe.

About 2021- 2022 Edition

The 3rd edition (2021-2022) of the BMP Grant theme as approved by the BMP Grant’s Steering Committee is Healthy Sleep For People Living With BMP Conditions. 

How to Apply

Application period

The application period for the third edition will start on 30 November 2021 and end on 31 March 2022.
